The whole case
Eight big cakes and four trays of small ones. The prices below are the prices in the shop — there is no online surcharge, because there is no online, there is Dot and a book.
Twelve things, eight big cakes and four trays of buns. One is sold out until Friday, two are down to the last few.
Nan Peg's order is whatever she thinks you ought to be buying this week.

7 Pennygate, Tuesday to Saturday, 7am until the shelves are bare. Boxed on a board with a ribbon that is genuinely holding it together.
Five miles of Fiddlewick, Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 1pm. Dot rings the evening before with a two-hour window and she keeps to it.
Tell us the same day. Remade for the next morning or refunded in full, your pick. No photographs, no form, no sending it back.
£4 anywhere inside five miles of Fiddlewick — that is Marlock, Harrow Fold, Pennywell and the Green. The van goes out Tuesday to Saturday between 9am and 1pm, and Dot rings you the evening before with a two-hour window. Collection from 7 Pennygate is free and you can come any time we are open.
Two full days for any of the big cakes, three for the Rose Cake because the piping takes an afternoon. Buns and teacakes need no notice at all — turn up and point. If you need something tomorrow, ring us: there is often a spare sponge in the back.
Tell us the same day and we will either remake it for the next morning or refund it in full, your choice. We do not ask for it back and we do not ask for photographs. It has happened four times in six years and all four were our fault.
An 18 cm round cuts into 10 polite slices or 8 honest ones. A 22 cm does 16 to 18. A 26 cm does 24 to 28, and the Burnt Honey Stack goes a little further because it is denser. If you are between sizes, go up: nobody has ever complained about leftover cake.
Everything is made in a kitchen that handles wheat, egg, dairy and nuts, so we cannot promise a trace-free cake. We do a gluten-free sponge for the Strawberry Pinafore and the Berry Patch with four days' notice. Every cake leaves in a rigid box on a board, with a ribbon, a card and the ingredient list written on the back of it.
Up to forty-eight hours before collection, yes, and there is nothing to pay. Inside forty-eight hours the sponge is already made, so we ask for half. Nan Peg has never actually enforced this on anybody.
Tell us which cake, the day you need it and how many people. Nothing is paid until we have agreed what it is, and Dot writes the lot in the book.
Or ring 01639 55 2041, Tuesday to Saturday. Crumb answers first, then Dot.
